Saint Mary has recently put this statue on the grounds of the Leavenworth campus. The image has many different meanings for different people. For Catholics and other Christians, it means that Jesus died on the cross to offer salvation. Around the cross are some of Jesus’ disciples giving Him love, support, and gratitude.
