Skillshops are offered for students at the University of Saint Mary. The Skillshops are a progression of short driven workshops on everything from study abilities and time management to wellness and job search preparation. There are four different categories in which Skillshops fall into: financial, technology, creating community, and study skills. One can choose from these categories of Skillshops depending on what they find interesting or beneficial.
Skillshops are a great opportunity that allows students to develop their skills inside and outside the classroom. Skillshops expand student knowledge base and help develop skills to enhance life within and beyond the classroom. According to Jacob Hayden skillshops are done “with the hope of helping students” here at USM.
Skillshops are held at the Keleher Learning Commons throughout the week. Check the event calendar to find a time that fits your schedule.
