Butcher Falls located in Sedan, Kansas, is a 14 foot waterfall that is on Pool Creek. The fall is around 500 feet, from the point where the creek empties into Middle Caney Creek. The falls is located on the Red Buffalo Ranch. The Ranch spreads across 8,000 acres of Sedan. It is owned by television personality Bill Kurtis, who was born in nearby Independence, Kansas. He has assisted and contributed to both communities.
