Eureka Falls is located in Eureka, Kansas and is just a few hundred feet down Bachelor Creek. The creek is fed by the spillway from 259 acre Eureka City Lake. The lake was built in the 1930s as a WPA project. During low water like this time of year, it is a spot many fishermen come to. Once it becomes high water you can’t stand close to the water due to the water covering the shore line. Most of the local people, come to swim in the falls to cool off on a hot day.
